Shaheed Bhagat Singh Book Centre takes its name seriously. This is not a general bookstore that happens to stock a few political titles — the shelf itself is built around the idea that literature should sharpen how you see the world.

From our shop at Panjabi Bhawan in Ludhiana, we sell progressive Punjabi fiction, translated world classics, history, and poetry — much of it published by Gorky Prakashan, a Ludhiana press that has spent years bringing serious literature into Punjabi.

Our readers are students, young people discovering political literature for the first time, and lifelong readers across Punjab who want something with substance. Increasingly, they are Punjabi families abroad too — which is why we are building this online shelf.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh Book Centre is run by Harish Modgil out of Panjabi Bhawan, Ludhiana.
